M3 models have been derived from the corresponding generations of the BMW 3 Series. The initial model was available in a coupé body style. At times the M3 has also been available in saloon and convertible body styles. Due to the coupé and convertible models no longer being part of the 3 Series range from 2015, the F82/F83 coupe and convertible models are now called the M4 based on the newly introduced 4 Series. The M3 name remains in use solely for the saloon version. Upgrades over the standard 3 Series automobiles include more powerful and responsive engines, improved handling/suspension/braking systems, aerodynamic body enhancements, lightweight components and interior/exterior accents with the tri-colour "M" (Motorsport) emblem. In contrast to later M3 iterations, the E30 M3 was campaigned by BMW as well as other racing teams including Prodrive and AC Schnitzer in many forms of motorsport, including rallying and road racing. The latter included campaigns in the World Touring Car Championship, Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft, British Touring Car Championship, Italian Touring Car Championship, French Touring Car Championship and the Australian Touring Car Championship. The production of the E30 road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring car racing. It was to compete with various models including the "2.3-16V" variant of the Mercedes-Benz W201 190E that was introduced in 1983. In full race trim, the naturally aspirated 2.3 L S14 engine produced approximately 224 kW; 304 PS (300 hp). Production commenced in late 1992 and since then over 5,700 units have been produced; most of these are the SD70M and SD70MAC models. All locomotives of this series are hood units with C-C trucks, while the SD70ACe-P4 has a B1-1B wheel configuration. Prior to the SD70ACe and SD70M-2 models, all SD70 models were delivered with the self-steering HTCR radial truck. The radial truck allows the axles to steer in curves which reduces wear on the wheels and railhead. With the introduction of the SD70ACe and SD70M-2 models, EMD introduced a new bolsterless non-radial HTSC truck as the standard truck for these models in an effort to reduce costs. The HTCR-4 radial truck is still an option. All SD70ACe and SD70M-2 locomotives are, from the factory, equipped with one Nathan Airchime K5LLA-R1L airhorn mounted on a high-profile base. It featured a four-cylinder SOHC air-cooled wet sump engine, with two valves per cylinder. The CB650 was a development of the CB550, itself derived from the even earlier CB500. The CB650 was the last of Honda's successful series of air-cooled SOHC fours that began in 1969 with the Honda CB750. Model development For cost-saving purposes, the CB650 was designed to be produced on the same production line as its CB550 predecessor, using the existing tooling. The CB650's cylinder block was a new design, but it shared the stud holes of the earlier bike, which may explain why the bike could not be a full 650cc machine. Likewise, the frame was almost identical to that of the CB550. Handlebar levers and instruments (speedometer and tachometer) were also carried over from the earlier model. The CB650 produced a claimed 63 hp (47 kW) @ 9,000 rpm.

The first pre-production units were built in 2003. Evolution Series locomotives are equipped with either AC or DC traction motors, depending on the customer's preference. All are powered by the GE GEVO engine. The Evolution Series was named as one of the "10 Locomotives That Changed Railroading" in the January 2009 issue of Trains Magazine. It was the only locomotive introduced after 1972 to be included in that list. The Evolution Series, mainly the ES44DC, ES44AC, and ET44AC, are some of the best-selling and most successful freight locomotives in United States history, far surpassing the output of Electro-Motive Diesel. ES44DC The ES44DC (Evolution Series, 4400 HP, DC traction) replaced the Dash 9-44CW model in the General Electric catalogue. Primary users are BNSF Railway, CSX Transportation, and Canadian National Railway. Pilbara Iron in Australia ordered a lengthened, international version designated ES44DCi. The extra length is used for a larger radiator to increase cooling capacity in the Australian outback.

It is powered by a 599 cc (36.6 cu in) liquid-cooled inline-four engine, originally a detuned version of that in the Honda CBR600 sport bike, which currently produces around 102 bhp (76 kW). The 'Hornet' name was not taken to North America as AMC had trademarked the name with the AMC Hornet.The Hornet comes in models:160, 250, 600 & 900. * The Honda CB600F Hornet was introduced for Europe in 1998. It was based on the CB250F that was restricted to 250 cc at its home-market (Japan) because of local laws (this bike was released only in Japan from 1996 or 1997 until 2015 when it was succeeded by the CB300F). The bike has a six-speed transmission. Its suspension consists of a single shock in the rear and a conventional telescopic fork in the front until it was succeeded by an upside-down fork in 2005. Its brakes are dual-disc, Nissin twin piston in the front and single-disc, Nissin single piston in the rear. It was given the 16 in (410 mm) diameter front wheel and 17 in (430 mm), 180 section rear wheel setup from the Fireblade. As a sport-oriented motorcycle that provides an upright riding position, it is considered a standard or "naked bike". In 2000 Honda updated the Hornet, changing the 16 in (410 mm) front wheel for a 17 in (430 mm) to help corner stability and increasing the strength of the brake pass-over system on the front, making the brakes stronger. However, Honda did not increase the size of the fuel tank. A faired version, the CB600FS, was also introduced in 2000. In 2003 Honda gave the CB600F version a make-over, with a larger fuel tank (17 L or 3.7 imp gal or 4.5 US gal as opposed to the former 16 L or 3.5 imp gal or 4.2 US gal), and 'sharper' styling. The CB600S faired version was discontinued. In 2005 the instrument cluster was modernised, and more importantly, it was fitted with inverted front forks, to improve road-holding and cornering stability. Honda took the Hornet to the United States and Canadian market for the 2004 and 2006 model years. It was called the 599. The highly revised CB600F model came out in April 2007. The engine of the new motorcycle is a detuned version of the engine available in the 2007 CBR600RR giving a maximum output power of approximately 102 bhp (76 kW). In 2011, the model got a facelift. The headlight assembly was changed and the instrument cluster uses LCD display. This bike shared many of the same components – swingarm, fork, frame, engine – as the Honda CBR600F that was reintroduced in 2011. In 2014 the model received a major update and got a displacement increase of 49 cc, the new model is called CB650F

It is a member of the Networker family of trains. The Class 466 EMUs were built between 1993 and 1994 by GEC Alsthom in Birmingham, for the Network SouthEast sector of British Rail. They were inherited by Connex South Eastern and its successors South Eastern Trains and currently Southeastern. Each of these units is formed of two coaches that have dimensions of 20.89 m × 2.81 m (68 ft 6 in × 9 ft 3 in) and a top speed of 75 mph (121 km/h). There are 43 units in the fleet, numbered 466001 to 466043. Class 466 units are used by Southeastern Metro routes in multiple with Class 465/0, Class 465/1, Class 465/2 and other Class 466 units. Additionally, Class 466 units are now also operating on outer suburban routes with Class 465/9 units, although quite a few routes are being replaced with Class 375 Electrostars. A Solid State Traction Converter package controls 3-phase AC Traction motors, which allows for Rheostatic or Regenerative Dynamic braking. Primary braking system is electro-pneumatically actuated disc brakes, which is blended with the Dynamic brakes. Speed Probes on every axle of the unit provide for Wheel Slip/Slide Protection. A solid state Auxiliary Converter provides 110 V DC and 240 V AC supplies; this is the source of the loud buzzing noise which can be heard when the train is stationary. The Aux Converter is located on the driving trailer, along with the toilet. The units use air-operated sliding plug doors. There are a total of 43 Class 466 EMUs on the UK rail network. These are all owned by Angel Trains, leased and operated by Southeastern. All these units have recently been fitted with new information boards with automatic announcements.

* The Mazda MX-5, released as the Mazda MX-5 Miata /miˈɑːtə/ in North America and as the Eunos Roadster or Mazda Roadster in Japan, is a lightweight two-seater roadster with a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. Manufactured by Mazda in Hiroshima, Japan, the model debuted in 1989 at the Chicago Auto Show.

The MX-5 was conceived as a small roadster – with light weight and minimal mechanical complexity limited only by legal and safety requirements, while being technologically modern and reliable. The MX-5 is conceptually the evolution and spiritual successor of the British sports cars of the 1950s & '60s, such as the Triumph Spitfire, Austin-Healey 100 and 3000, Austin-Healey Sprite, MG MGA and MG Midget, and particularly the Lotus Elan.

The second generation MX-5 (NB) was launched in 1998 (for the 1999 model year), the third generation (NC) model was launched in 2005 (for the 2006 model year), and a fourth generation (ND) was released in 2015 (for the 2016 model year). It is the best-selling two-seat convertible sports car in history and, by April 2016, over one million MX-5s have been built and sold around the world.[2] Production of the MX-5 had fallen by 2013 to below 14,000 units, due to the world finance crisis in 2008, and the pre-announcement in 2012 of the coming ND model.

It is powered by a Rotax single cylinder 124.8 cc two-stroke engine with Nikasil coated aluminium cylinder block, and liquid cooling. aprilia has had many Grand Prix victories in the 125 cc and 250 cc two-stroke classes. This racing experience has been used by Aprilia to produce updated and improved versions of the RS125. RS125R Extrema 1992 to 1995 Aprilia introduced the first RS125 in 1992. It has the distinctive features of having an angular tail section and swept front fairing, square cut headlight unit, three spoke rims, air scoops on the upper front middle fairing, Electric starter or kick start on the left hand side and analogue gauges. RS125 1996 to 1998 The RS125 is revised and the R suffix is dropped. The RS retains a lot of the appearances of the previous RS but there are some notable differences. In 2008, the bike's electronics were changed froml Nippon-Denso to Piaggio/EFI Technology electronics, most notably the new ECU to meet the more stringent EURO3 Emissions standards. 2011 RS125 (Alitalia Livery) The bike has also been fitted with a vacuum fuel tap on the tank and a new Dell'orto 28 mm VHST carburettor that features the vacuum pipe extension. The line was dropped in 2012 to make way for the new RS4 125, going from a two-stroke to a single-cylinder four-stroke fuel injected system. Tuono 1999 to 2005 The RS125 Tuono was introduced in 1999 as a semi naked version of the RS125. Production ran until 2005 and was subsequently dropped from the line-up. The Tuono was essentially an RS125 with the middle and lower portions of the fairings absent and a handlebar fitted on the top yoke. It is the longest in Norway and lacks electrification. The route runs through the counties of Sør-Trøndelag, Nord-Trøndelag and Nordland, carrying a combination of commuter, long-haul passenger and freight trains. From Trondheim Central Station to Steinkjer Station the line is most heavily used, with hourly services by the Trøndelag Commuter Rail. There are three branch lines—the Stavne–Leangen Line at Leangen Station, the Meråker Line at Hell Station and the Namsos Line at Grong Station. The section from Trondheim to Hell opened on 22 July 1882. The next section, initially the Hell–Sunnan Line, opened in stages between 1902 and 1905. The line was lengthened to Snåsa Station on 30 October 1926 and then to Grong on 30 November 1929. Construction continued in a slow pace northwards, but was accelerated by the Wehrmacht after the 1940 occupation. The Holmen runway opened again
His Majesty The King reopened the Holmenkollbaan today. The track has been closed for upgrading since June 2009, but now it is ready to carry the public to the events in Holmenkollen during the World Championships on skiing in 2011.

The line is now designed for the new MX3000 rolling stock, with a power supply via a power rail and a new Holmenkollen station designed for 6-carriageway.

The first trip
King Harald was welcomed by Mayor Fabian Stang at Majorstuen Station, and the trip from Majorstuen to Holmenkollen went with a new carriage lane.

Among the many invited guests, Berit Okkenhaug was also a passenger on this trip. It was she who sat next to King Olav when he took the Holmen Runway in 1973 - King Olav was skiing in Nordmarka during the oil crisis. 37 years later, she had a royal company on the same trip.

Tradition in Kollen
Correctly the king met the Holmenkoll march when the track arrived at Holmenkollen station. It was traditional Kamp Janitsjar who had taken a stand on the platform.

The king received a brief briefing before taking the official opening. The opening ceremony was initiated with talks by the mayor and representatives of the tramway. Jo Nesbø stood for the musical, first with the "90 meter hill" and later with "Skating rider Erik Vea".

King Harald was served traditional Kollen menu with sausages and waffles. The guests also got cocoa to warm up in winter-calling Holmenkollen.
